*Sort of just scurries up next to Felix with a cheeky grin- Allan, a Gryffindor boy(?? Or girl? It was hard to tell sometimes but today he definitely looked like a boy-), was carrying a small stack of books- some more dusty then others. Mostly history and theory books- but a few looked more like they belonged in the deep recesses of the Restricted Section. He had carefully turned those books page out and stacked the history books on top, so it was difficult to tell what those books were.*

*Allan expression was that of a entertained puppy who had just caught a ball. He addressed Felix in that same cheeky manner.*

“Hey, pretty boy! Do you spell well?”

*He chirped and tilted his head, gesturing to how his owl post was labelled.*

Felix glanced up, blinking as the bright, brash tones of a Gryffindor broke his quiet bubble in the library. His eyes landed on Allan, who had somehow managed to sneak up on him with a grin that could only be described as mischievous. Felix found himself smiling back, warmth blooming through the remnants of the magical theory he’d been immersed in just moments before.

It took him a beat longer than it should have to notice the small tower of books clutched in Allan's arms. It was an unusual collection, to say the least - he could make out a couple of familiar titles on magical history, though the dust clinging to them implied they hadn’t seen the light of day in years. But the others… The Swede's eyes narrowed a fraction. These books seemed suspiciously like the kind of volumes mere students shouldn't get their hands on. Felix arched an eyebrow, but he thought better of asking. For now.

Instead, he closed his own book with a gentle thud, leaning back in his chair and letting Allan's cheeky energy draw him in. Pretty boy? Allan's question caught him off guard, but Felix matched the boy's smirk with an easy-going smile, albeit a touch baffled.

"Spell well?" he repeated, trying to mask his confusion. "I'd like to think so, yes…” He trailed off, glancing at the stack of books, as if one might offer an answer. "Are you… looking for tutoring?" The Ravenclaw's smile grew, eyes twinkling, unaware of the entirely different meaning his fellow student likely had in mind.

not that I expect the graphic novel adaptation to get that far, but I wonder how it would handle the situation with Keefe's family crest in book 2/3. he's given it in book 2, rigged, after he becomes close with sophie. in the graphic novel, he has it from his very first appearance. would they just have gisela rig it later?

it makes enough sense, but we do lose out on some of the betrayal's impact, i think. in the book keefe finally gets a small token of inclusion/acceptance after years, but it turns out to have been a facade all along, and that acknowledgement was simply a means to use him. in the graphic novel, it sucks that it'd get rigged, but the crest has less emotional significance. more like a damn, sucks they used my crest, not a oh my god they, my family, used my ostracization from said family against me and never truly cared

Axl seems to have struggled with mental illness most of his life and there's this super intriguing situation that I don't think is well-known outside hardcore GNR fans, where the former nanny of his ex-girlfriend basically became a ""mother figure"" to him in the 90s when he was at a low point....and so this Brazilian woman named Beta and her adult kids are basically Axl's found family now? he never had any children, never remarried, and just lives with these people and his cats. super fascinating, I'm still trying to understand the extent of their relationship, because Beta is also apparently his acting band/tour manager....!? I wonder if something nefarious is going on there in the background but they do genuinely "seem" like a family. weird.
